A stockpile is a beautiful thing, always having a supply of your favorites ready and available. Problems can arise if you assume you have something and discover you’re out (for me it always seems to be toilet paper or flour!). Keep an eye on the essentials as you use them, and keep a running list of items you’re low on. That way you’ll have a little time to wait for a decent sale/coupon matchup, and you won’t end up worrying about the last roll of toilet paper an hour before company arrives!
