We got a question in our Giant Eagle Couponing Facebook Group about ways to save on Gluten-Free food. Suggestions included checking brands’ web sites for coupons, checking out the GF selection at Aldi, and looking for deals on Gluten Free at Amazon.
Amazon might seem like an unlikely place to shop for groceries, but two programs can sometimes make for pretty good deals, and the items get delivered right to your door. The first program is Subscribe and Save, where you save 5% by having an item scheduled for delivery on a regular basis (it’s really easy to cancel or adjust your delivery schedule too, and they send reminders!). The best part is that if you have 5 or more items scheduled for delivery in the same month, you save a total of 15% off your order instead of 5%! You can find out more about Subscribe and Save HERE.
Amazon Pantry is another option, where you fill a box with household staples, and get a discount on them. The box is filled by weight, and for Pantry items it’ll tell you what percentage of the box the item will fill. When you get to 100%, your groceries are delivered.
It helps to know comparison prices when you shop this way, so keep in mind the prices you could get the items at in the stores–they’re not all good deals, but if you can find a coupon to clip along with the discounts above, you can score some great deals.
