It’s Monday–time to share our dinner-time game plans for the week! A little effort with meal planning at the beginning of the week helps me to provide my family with nutritious, budget-friendly meals, and also allows me to get my act together when our family’s headed in several different directions.
This week kind of feels like the calm before the storm…we have a week off of the kids’ activities before swimming fires back up next week (and baseball will start before we know it!), and my husband finally has a somewhat normal week after a February full of evening meetings–yay! We’ll take weeks like this when we can get them, and I’ll try to make a few favorites while everyone’s home and no one has to rush off after dinner!
Here’s my plan for the week:
Monday: Ham & cheese omelettes, fresh fruit, toast
Tuesday: Meat loaf, mashed potatoes, and green beans
Wednesday: Honey-Garlic Chicken, rice, broccoli (bumped from last week)
Thursday: Boneless BBQ Country-Style ribs in the crock pot, Au Gratin Potatoes, peas
Friday: Chicken Pot Pie (I’ll double the recipe and freeze one!)
Saturday: Cheeseburgers, Baked smiley fries, carrots, celery, & cucumbers
Sunday: Leftovers
