It’s Monday–time to share our dinner-time game plans for the week! This week we’re doing some birthday celebrating and family reunion-ing, so that affects the meal plan. I’ll also be teaching all week, so that definitely affects things as well. Still, I’m thankful to have a few family favorites that I can get on the table between the time I get home and the time they’re all hungry. Planning definitely helps us get through these busy weeks!
Here’s our meal plan for this week:
Monday: Steak on the grill, baked potatoes, and green beans (belated Father’s Day for the hubby since we were running all weekend!)
Tuesday: Meatloaf Cupcakes (I’m going to try doubling the recipe and freezing some to take on vacation–I’ll let you know how that turns out!)
Wednesday: Honey Garlic Chicken, rice, broccoli (bumped from last week!)
Thursday: Ordering pizza for a birthday sleepover!
Friday: Family reunion: planning to take chips & salsa and birthday cupcakes for the kids
Saturday: Wild card day–need to check what the out-of-town cousin who’s staying with us likes! (or doesn’t like!)
Sunday: Celebrating my daughter’s birthday, plus Father’s Day and a few other family birthdays. Requested menu: Pulled Roast Beef sandwiches, fruit salad, fresh veggies, chips & dip, Strawberry Shortcake for dessert
