Tuesday Tip of the Day – BOGO Sale & BOGO Coupon

January 11, 2011

BOGO or B1G1F can be great deals for couponers!
You can use TWO coupons -
one for the freebie and one for the purchased.
What makes this even better?
A BOGO coupon = BOTH FREE!

Great examples of this are the Rite Aid Deals on Stayfree and Kellogg’s Special K – see details HERE.

I saw this in your print and take and wasn't sure how that worked, but was wondering. Thanks for clearing it up for me. Sandy

At cvs, they have Bogo 50% off of Bic razors. There was also a coupon in the 1.9.11 coupons that was BOGO Free. When I went to Cvs I think the cashier rang it up incorrectly. It rang up that 50% was taken off one razor and then only 50% was taken off the full price razor. Shouldn't the full prize razor be free with the newspaper coupon?
I am new to the coupon world and would really appreciate your feedback.
Thanks in advance!

Welcome CK! Typically the free item with a BOGO coupon is the less expensive of the two items. Meaning the 50% off razor would have been free. Often there is a dollar amount limit on the free item too :)
